Who we are…
Simply Elegant is a full service Event Planning company located in Miami, Florida. Our service area includes Dade and Broward. We also specialize in providing coordination of services in South Florida for clients living accross the United States. We are dedicated to help you design the special event of your dreams, while keeping your wishes and budget in mind.
Simply Elegant is a family owned and
operated business. Perla M. Lominchar and het two children, Jesus E. Lominchar,
Jr. and Jackelyn Cortez are dedicated to providing unparalleled consulting and
planning services to ensure that your plans are executed with utmost perfection
and professionalism.
Simply Elegant's success is attributed to Perla's vast experience in the
hospitality field. From 1989 to 1995 she worked with Marriott Corporation in
banquets sales and catering until she was offered a position as Catering
Director at Doral Park Country Club where she worked for over 9 years until her
life-long vision became a reality and Simply Elegant, Inc. was born. Jesus
learned the business by working part-time at Doral Park Country Club while
attending school. While in college he concentrated on marketing and computer
technology and is presently in charge of marketing, research and website
management for the company. Jackie followed her mother's footsteps and worked as
her assistant at Doral Park Country Club. She then went on to learn other
aspects of the hospitality industry with Marriott Corporation and eventually
became a wedding coordinator for Carnival Cruise Lines. She left Carnival and
joined the family business in 2005.
Simply Elegant, Inc. is a member of the National Association of Wedding Professionals (NAWP)
and the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC), which helps to keep our company
updated and educated in the ever-changing trends of the wedding industry.
Perla is also a member of the National Association of Female Executives and an active member in her community by
participating in several local chambers such as the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
